Nylon Duct Strips

OUR SERVICESDucts are an important component of air conditioning systems. They aid in the removal of a significant amount of humidity and stale air from your home.

Flexible ducting is best suited for small and tight interiors where installing rigid systems or large structures is inconvenient. It can also be used to integrate to an air outlet at the end of a rigid ductwork system. Flexible ducts are pipe ducts made of wire coil or polyurethane that can be easily bent into various angles. Any twisting or bending during configuration must be prevented as it may reduce air flow. These ducts are considerably cheaper and easier to install.

Nylon Duct Strips are heavy duty duct straps and are ideal for safeguarding large ducts, large cables, and wires. They can be used to secure the round ductwork to the air outlet or fittings and secure the pipes.

They are generally used for HVAC systems with flexible duct systems. These help the flexible duct to retain their shape and avoid sagging and crumpling of the ducts. They give a secure locking mechanism to the duct to give it a firm hold.

These nylon straps are a highly economical alternative to metal straps and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C.

Not only are these durable but are much easier to install than metal straps and can readily uphold the shape of the duct.

Nylon Duct straps are:

  • Extremely lightweight in construction
  • Non-combustible
  • Flexible and easy to install
  • Doesn’t lose its shape
  • Can be cut and joined easily
  • Highly compressible.

Some features of Nylon Duct Connectors are:

  • Provides excellent mechanical resistance to the ducts.
  • Highly durable and high tensile strength.
  • Can handle varying temperatures.
  • Non flammable
  • Has water resistant properties
  • Is great for industrial places due to its chemical resistance property.

During installation make sure to plan out the whole mapping of the duct work and what other equipment like connectors, straps or seals will be required to secure the ducts, because insufficient planning may lead to a lot of troubles afterwards.

A proper design will ensure that the air is being properly supplied and pulled from the rooms and there is no friction or turbulence while the air flows through the ducts.
