Galvanized Clips

OUR SERVICESIf you are installing a new duct system or modifying a previous ductwork, you must recognise the adjoining components of the duct.

If you maintain the standards and the simple components required to accurately connect the ducts, it is really a relatively simple process.

The clips also known as cleats are a critical component in the modifications or installation of the duct system because they attach and protect the two ducts that will be joined together. Such cleats connect the shorter sides of these ducts, which are usually 180° or less.

Galvanized Pipe clips are pressed circular or semicircular inlet connectors that wrap outside a pipe for external support and interconnect the duct parts to other system parts. The static and velocity pressures of the duct system are transferred to the structure by such piping clips. As pipe support attachments, a variety of piping clamps are offered.

What factors should be considered while picking the correct pipe clamp?

Temperature:

The steel may expand due to heat energy and swell as a result of temperature changes. If the proper fasteners and flanges are not applied to the piping system of the ducts then it may affect the pipe activity due to thermal expansion, the configuration may fail and cause structural damage. You must therefore evaluate the degree of thermal increment on the piping system before selecting the appropriate fasteners to deal with it.

Weight:

Because most pipe clips have the highest load bearing capacity, you must choose one that is capable of accommodating the load your duct system needs.

Size:

Because all clips are mostly manufactured in specified preset dimensions, the length and width of the pipes will affect the availability of the clip you want to have. Single screw clamps, for instance –, have a lighter weight variety since they must flip outward only on the side, hence they are better suitable for short pipes. Dual screw clamps or heavy duty clamps are frequently required for longer pipes.

These clips enable for a streamlined and more dependable duct system design, and therefore much easier interior part configuration. As a matter of fact, it saves a substantial amount of time while fixing or installing any element.

The components can be simply detached for repair or servicing due to its flexible and robust layout. The tight seals of such clamps reduces the risk of duct deterioration and air leakage.
